At the 2011 Paris Nautical Show, a boating event, Jeep made a premier of an all new Jeep Wrangler model designed to symbolize by an airy sailboat. Working with Style & Design studio Jeep created two concept models each with a nautical theme.
One of Jeep's nautical themed concepts is a White Jeep Wrangler Nautic, modeled after the broad desk of a sailboat. With a chrome grill, door handles and truck hinges as well as 20-inch wheels with a chrome-and-white spare tire, the concept defines the essence of a sailboat. In addition to such boat like trimmings, the model also includes a white awning and two white folding chairs located in its rear.
Another one of Jeep's nautical concepts is the Black Jeep Wrangler Nautic by Style & Design, which is inspired by a yacht deck. The black model incorporates similar features such as 20-inch wheels, large chrome grille, and a yacht deck-inspired trunk, floor mats and interior equipment. The interior features black leather, a chrome-and-black spare wheel; and an awning for those of you who want to sun bathe.
"While its inspiration is quite different, the styling and accents are much the same?" 1Source: 1http://www.motorauthority.com/news/1070240_the-jeep-wrangler-unlimited-gets-nautical
