In conjunction with the United States Department of Energy, Ram has produced a 140-vehicle fleet of Ram 1500 Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV). Set for facilities across the United States, the crew cab pickup trucks run on a combination of the auto maker's 5.7 liter HEMI V8 gasoline engine and its 20 mile range electric motor.
